Coming Attractions: Big Celebration: This Blog, This Tuesday

What will I be celebrating on Tuesday, January 29, 2008? Or should that be "who" will I be celebrating? Or do I mean to say both?

Will there be a challenge issued?

Will there be prizes? Presents? Lots and lots of presents?

You betcha.

Don't forget to stop by.

Later,
xo
P.S. And um, I've re-opened comments. What the hell.
P.P.S. Well, I tried to re-open comments. I did everything I am supposed to do, including double-checking the changes on the template. Oh well. Maybe they will magically reappear later.
P.P.P.S. Yay! I figured it out! They're back!

Hi Robin,
I'd say you might be celebrating the birth of a certain lovely barefoot bass player?

Ha ha - thanks, Rena. Now it's just one more day.

P&P - hope it pays off

Aimee - you are probably the only one who has commented here so far who has any idea...

Ramiro - nope, she'll be 22 on Wednesday and that will be a whole 'nother story, probably to be reported Thursday after the culinary, um, adventure she has planned for us Wednesday night.

I'm going to guess that you are planning a "It's Only ONE WEEK until Fat Tuesday!" celebration.

If Wednesday is Julie's b-day, shouldn't YOU be cooking for HER and not the other way around?

Ha, Scott, this is why it pays to have a writer's blog with a mostly musical readership -- my project tomorrow will have a whole different audience than those of my other friends.

Cooking? Who is cooking? Nope, Julie is taking us to some epicurian extravaganza which caters to vegetarians and those with eclectic tastes like, erm, organ meat and has a scary "$$$$" next to its name on our city guide.

I can hardly wait! Might I eat some popcorn to celebrate the culmination of said project?

Blogger RobinSlick said...

Hi, Kath - I will make it your while, I hope.

And hey, Kathleen - no popcorn for this event, though I suppose you could if you are into eating it to celebrate someone very special; however since you did bring it up, yep, I do have a fun, upcoming announcement that will go very nicely with some Orville, yes

Orville's a bad muthashutyomouth!
Secrets... you will be coming out as a lesbian wiccan?!

7:40 PM
Blogger RobinSlick said...

I came out as a lesbian wiccan last year...that's so old.

Now I'm into role playing the characters in the original Flash Gordon series. If you must know, sometimes I'm Dale Arden and Gary is Dr. Hans Zarkov but mostly I'm Ming the Merciless.

Okay, I have definitely had too much brandy tonight. See you guys tomorrow!

Kim, see my post of today - particularly the P.S. Would you be willing to donate Menage?

Oh God, Tish, does this mean I won't have to be all red-faced when I see you in public again? Though there will be a Q&A session later...ha!)

About Me

My Photo
Name: Robin Slick
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States

Writer, raging liberal, and mother of 2/3 of the Adrian Belew Power Trio. "I work on the principle that it's not possible to take anyone's views on music seriously if they don't like the Beatles. Everything else is a question of personal taste and therefore debatable. But if you don't recognise the Beatles as the twentieth century's most inventive, most influential and most talented composers, you're pretty much admitting that you've rather missed the point of the last hundred years of musical endeavour. Should you fall into that category, I do not condemn neither do I mock. I merely despair and, having despaired, I move on." ...Mark Bastable www.myspace.com/markbastable
