Eric Slick Update

Thank you for all of your kind emails, which I hope to answer tomorrow.

After many harrowing hours at the hospital, Eric's appendix was (were?) removed at 10:00 p.m. tonight. We just got home this very minute though we would have liked to stay the night - he's very uncomfortable though the surgeon assured us the operation was a complete success and his recovery should be uneventful and fairly rapid.

Fingers crossed for that -- if everything goes as planned, he may even be released from Jefferson Hospital tomorrow afternoon.

I'm exhausted so I'm going to bed and will post more details tomorrow.

Later,
xo
